L.O.S.T. - Live at the Old Street Tavern
Following an excellent gig from Koppelli, This Sunday afternoon at 4pm we welcome back Trovatori, who will be playing us classic arias from across the operatic gamut, and then next week we have the rock n'roll loveliness that is Paula Riordan, who will be bringing her trademark blues and gigawatt smile, and we have a host of live music, including jazz, folk, blues, DJs and metal coming up. This week our delicious house beers - locals HPA, a polished real ale at 4%, and Butty Bach, a marvellous premium ale at 4.5% – both from Wye Valley Brewery, are joined by the following two guests from Oakham Ales:
Citra - a multi CAMRA award-winning beer, Citra is light gold, and bursts with citrus and tropical hop flavours. It's jolly refreshing, and very quaffable at 4.2%.
Bishop's Farewell - slightly heftier at 4.6%, this is a golden, premium beer, with a smooth, malty background, rich and fruity hop flavours, and a refreshing finish.
