Our wonderful house beers are locals HPA, a polished real ale at 4%, and Butty Bach, a marvellous premium ale at 4.5% – both from Wye Valley Brewery.
This week, we are delighted to welcome the following:
Surprise by Sarah Hughes Brewery - a delicious golden premium ale brewed with Maris Otter and hopped with goldings to give the beer a hoppy, bitter taste, with a malty body and sweet finish. 5%
Dr Morton's Safety Beer by Abbeydale Brewery - a pale beer, brewed with Australian hops Galaxy and Vic Secret. Grapefruit, pineapple and passion fruit flavours. 4.1%
Milk Stout by Bristol Beer Factory - an iconic, multi award-winning milk stout - smooth chocolatey sweetness is balanced well by bitterness, with hints of dark fruits. 4.5%
Big Chief by Redemption Brewery - not called 'Big' for nothing, this is a hoppy IPA-style beer, packed full of Kiwi hops. Hints of honey, nectar, and plenty of tropical citrus and floral notes. 5.5%
L.O.S.T. - Live at the Old Street Tavern
This Friday noisy boys Versaints are playing, supported by Finbar,and coming up we have the full-on metal of Mudlarker, the lovely folk music of Koppelli, opera from Trovatori, and a host of various types of other stuff - you know what we're like. Check the box office for details.
