As we begin to get 2025 fully operational, our wonderful house beers are locals HPA, a polished real ale at 4%, and Butty Bach, a marvellous premium ale at 4.5% – both from Wye Valley Brewery.
This week, we are delighted to welcome the following:
Jaipur by Thornbridge – a heavyweight classic pale, get in quick as when we get this on cask it almost literally flies out the door. 5.9%
Admiral by Lune Brew Company - Session bitter with a modern twist, dry hopped with Admiral and Goldings. 3.4%
Inferno by Oakham – we haven’t had a bad beer off Oakham, and this is no exception – firey gold in colour, Inferno has a dry and fruity taste, with a bitter finish. 4.%
L.O.S.T. - Live at the Old Street Tavern
Excellent sets from Reverend Ferriday and Just Adam have opened the year, and we continue the season with appearances from original work William William Rodgers, folk from The Oxnam Chapple Group, (unplugged) metal fiends Mudlarker, synthwave electronica from Danny Fox, weird and wonderful musical mischief with Koppelli, and opera classics from Trovatori.
