P.O.S.T. #7 - Every leaf speaks bliss to me, fluttering from the autumn tree

From the Old Street Tavern in Ludlow, Shropshire, this is quite literally everything you need to know - ever, about anything at all. Up-coming gigs, the beer line-up, and the all-important Rupert's Password.

L. O. S. T. – LIVE at the OLD STREET TAVERN

Peter Hayter’s reading of Edgar Allen Poe’s Masque of the Red Death for Hallowe'en provided us all with some deliciously spine-tingling chills, and the next day The Beatniks led an excellent impromptu jam session.

Coming up this week we have Vitamins for Rats – indie folk led by Aoife Higgins, guaranteed to sit you down and force you to relax, with songs about devils, cross-dressing sailors and ghosts, and they continue a great line-up, featuring Versaints, Undaunted, and electronic experimentation and foolishness from Flip Music.

On 29th November we also have a book signing by the inimitable Bob Moran, formally the Telegraph's political cartoonist, and a friend of the Old Street Tavern. His work, all done by hand, is mordant, challenging and above all, humane. Come along for a beer and a chat, and bring some cash for a copy of the new book!

Check out our shiny new box office for the full line-up.
